MailChimp Mural
MailChimp invited me to create a mural for their Wink Gallery - an office designed from the ground up to spark collaboration and encourage creativity. Every floor in the space showcases a distinct art movement, and I was chosen to represent the surrealism movement.
The hand-painted mural was inspired by the joyful Brazilian carnaval celebrations of old days, full with rhythm, colors, and exuberance.

It’s Nice That
Just a number: Does our age affect how creative we are?
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, daring, wise – it’s common to make assumptions about people depending on their age. But does one group have it best when it comes to creative work?

Human: On Saving the Planet, AI and Proving You are Human.

Crooked Plow
Book by Itamar Vieira Junior
“Deep in Brazil's neglected Bahia hinterland, two sisters find an ancient knife beneath their grandmother's bed and, momentarily mystified by its power, decide to taste its metal. The shuddering violence that follows marks their lives and binds them together forever.
Heralded as a new masterpiece and the most important Brazilian novel of this century, this fascinating and gripping story about the lives of subsistence farmers in Brazil's poorest region, three generations after the abolition of slavery in that country is at once fantastic and realist, covering themes of family, spirituality, slavery and its aftermath and political struggle.”

Yūkari Ceramics
Danielle Yukari is a Japanese-Brazilian manual artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Inspired by Asian ceramics heritage and contemporary craftsmanship, her work is focused primarily on functional objects that are developed manually, from start to finish.
Yukari's minimalistic yet colorful universe adds humanness, delicacy, and craft to the often cold contemporary living spaces and aims to elevate everyday activities into deeply personal rituals.
Danielle has invited me to create artworks for the new edition of postcards, inspired by nature, colors, the scalloped world, daydreams, and even her adorable Poodle, Valentino.
